Pick your city

Runs on your phone. Nothing is uploaded. Only the city you pick is remembered on this device (the prayer-times page uses it too).

About these times

Suhoor ends at Fajr

The fast starts at the Fajr adhan. UAE timetables also show Imsak, 10 minutes earlier, as a precaution to finish eating and drinking.

Iftar is at Maghrib

The fast ends at sunset, at the Maghrib adhan. Fasting hours here run from Fajr to Maghrib.

Same method as our prayer times

Times are worked out on your phone with the method of our prayer-times tool: Fajr at 18.2° and the UAE's small safety adjustments. They can differ from the official calendar by a minute or two.

The dates are expected

Ramadan starts and ends with the moon sighting. Astronomers expect the first day on Monday 8 February 2027 and Eid al-Fitr on 9 or 10 March, so the month may have 29 or 30 days.

Sources (last checked 27 October 2026): Ramadan 1448 AH is expected to begin on Monday 8 February 2027, with Eid al-Fitr on Tuesday 9 or Wednesday 10 March 2027, according to Ibrahim Al Jarwan of the Emirates Astronomical Society (Gulf News, 10 October 2026); the calculated Umm al-Qura calendar gives the same first day. The real dates depend on the moon sighting announced by the UAE authorities. Times are calculated with the same method and settings as Jarreb!'s prayer-times page: sun position from the U.S. Naval Observatory's approximate formulas, Fajr at 18.2° below the horizon, sunset at 0.833°, +3 minutes for Maghrib, UTC+4. Imsak is shown 10 minutes before Fajr, as in UAE Ramadan timetables published in 2026 (Gulf News); checked against that timetable for 18 February 2026, our Fajr (5:34 am) and Maghrib (6:18 pm) for Dubai matched. The reference is the official calendar of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat (awqaf.gov.ae) and, in Dubai, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (iacad.gov.ae): times here may differ by a minute or two.
