If an online form asks for exact pixels, choose "Exact pixels" and type them: the crop box changes shape to match.

UAE photos need a plain white background. This tool doesn't change the background: retake the photo against a white wall, or try our background remover first. Edited photos can be refused, so a clean retake is safest.
This tool gets the size and framing right. Whether a photo is accepted is decided by the authority, typist or embassy that checks it, and rules can change. Check the current rules on the official service before you apply.
What makes a good ID photo
A recent colour photo, 3.5 × 4.5 cm, on a white background, meeting the ICAO standard. Face straight at the camera, eyes open and clearly visible, neutral expression.
No more than 6 months old. For a renewal, the new photo must be different from the one already on your document.
No sunglasses or tinted lenses. Medical glasses only if they don't hide the eyes or reflect light. Head cover is allowed for national dress or religious reasons, with the face fully visible.
Print the sheet at actual size (100%, no "fit to page") on 4×6 inch (10×15 cm) photo paper, then cut along the grey lines.
