- Many free trials turn into paid plans automatically. Before you type your card details, check the date it starts charging and the price, and add it here with that date so it shows up under "Renewing in the next 30 days".
- Cancel in the way the terms say (often in the app or by email), take a screenshot or keep the email confirming it, and check your next card statement.
- In the UAE, Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection says a contract term that frees the supplier from its duties under the law is void (Article 21), and online sellers registered in the UAE must give you their details and the payment terms in Arabic (Article 25).
- If a company won't cancel or keeps charging, complain to the Ministry of Economy (800 1222) or your emirate's consumer protection department, and tell your bank about any charge you didn't agree to. Know your consumer rights

Monthly equivalents use 52 weeks a year. This is a budgeting aid, not legal or financial advice: the terms of your own contract and the authority's own pages are final.
