PDF tools
Merge, split, reorder, rotate, number, watermark and sign PDFs, and turn photos into a PDF or a PDF into images. It all happens on your device: your files are never uploaded anywhere.
No pages yet. Once you've added some, drag them to reorder; on a phone, use the arrows.
What hides inside a PDF
Besides the pages you can see, a PDF has a small "information" area that most people never open. Whatever made the file fills it in for you.
Word processors often copy the name from your account or computer into the Author field. Send a CV or an offer letter and that name goes with it.
The Creator and Producer fields name the software, sometimes with its version. The dates show when the file was made and last changed, down to the minute.
A black box drawn over text often hides nothing: the words can still be selected and copied underneath. Some files also carry attachments or earlier saved versions. To really remove text, use a proper redaction tool, or print to a new PDF and check it.
In Microsoft Word, File › Info › Check for Issues › Inspect Document finds and removes personal details. Or add the PDF here with "Remove hidden details" ticked and download a clean copy.
Why on your device matters
Contracts, Emirates ID scans, salary certificates and bank statements are exactly the files people send to "free PDF" websites. Here they are opened by your own browser and never sent anywhere.
Photos you add are redrawn before they go into the PDF, so their hidden location and camera details are left behind.
Once this page has loaded, you can switch off your connection and keep working. That's a quick way to prove nothing is being uploaded.
