Job offer checker

Type in the offer to see the real monthly and yearly package, how much of it is basic salary, and anything below the UAE Labour Law minimums. Add a second offer to compare them side by side.

Runs on your phone. Nothing you type is uploaded or saved: the numbers are gone when you close the page. Only the ticks in the "before you sign" list are kept, in this browser on this device.

Good to know

Why the basic salary matters

The basic wage does not include allowances (Labour Law, Art. 1). Your end-of-service gratuity is worked out on your last basic wage (Art. 51), and job loss insurance pays 60% of your average basic salary. Two offers with the same total can leave you with very different gratuity.

The offer becomes your contract

The MOHRE job offer sets out your terms. Once both sides sign it, it is registered with MOHRE as a binding employment contract, and the contract must be based on it (u.ae). Read it before you sign, not after you land.

You should not pay to be hired

The law forbids employers from charging workers recruitment and employment fees, directly or indirectly (Art. 6). Health insurance for private sector workers is mandatory in every emirate, bought by the employer (MOHRE).

Non-compete clauses have limits

They are only allowed if the job gives you access to clients or business secrets, must be limited in time, place and type of work, and cannot last more than 2 years after the contract ends (Art. 10).
