Can you drive and text?
Keep your car in lane and dodge the traffic for 40 seconds. Then try it again while replying to messages, or while you keep nodding off.
Steer with the buttons, the arrow keys, or by dragging on the road.
Why it's so hard
Reading and typing a short reply takes several seconds. At 120 km/h, every second is 33 metres you don't see.
Even after you look up, your brain is still on the message. Drivers miss hazards right in front of them.
A tired driver can drift off for a few seconds with eyes open or closed and not even notice. Yawning, heavy eyes and missed exits are the signs.
Phone on do-not-disturb, out of reach. If you're tired, stop somewhere safe and rest. Coffee and loud music don't fix it.
A simplified game, not a driving simulator. Using a phone while driving is a traffic offence in the UAE. Never test this on a real road.
